Following in the footsteps of “Instagram”, Facebook announced yesterday, Wednesday, the launch of the short entertainment video service known as “Reels”.
The company stated that it launched the feature in the United States for the “iOS” and “Android” operating systems.
She explained that relying on short videos “Reels” can help “expand the base of followers and entertain fans.”
It also revealed that this type of video can contain music, effects, sound recordings, and many more features.
Reels will appear on your News Feed or within groups. If the viewer likes the video maker, he can easily “follow” it, like it, or share it with friends.
A video producer can share his clip on Facebook for a certain type of audience or make it available to all users. The video creator must be at least 18 years old.
Facebook is also testing a technology that aims to allow Instagram content creators to share their videos directly on Facebook.
