Fort Worth, Texas: Man shot while looking for help with car

According to police, the victim was trying to get down a driver for help near I-20 and 820 Loop.

Fort Worth, Texas – Police are searching for the suspect who shot a man in his vehicle on Wednesday morning while seeking help.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department, officers were sent to Crossroad The westbound entrance ramp of Interstate 20 and the northbound entrance onto South Loop 820. That was at 2:18 a.m. Wednesday.

When they reached there, they saw that a man was shot in the hand.

The victim said that his vehicle had mechanical problems and decided to do the bridge on the side of the road. He was trying to get down the other drivers when the suspect stopped his vehicle.

He then came out of the suspect’s vehicle, took out his pistol and shot the victim.

The man was taken to a hospital with a bullet wound in his finger, but police said he was in good condition.

No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, but the FWPD Gun Violence Unit will investigate. Anyone with information can call them at 817-392-4550.
