Plane Crash Today Austin Update: ATCEMS said a small 2-seater plane has gone down in Lady Bird Lake.
EMS authorities received a call about the plane about 2 p.m. in the lake west of the I-35 bridge in the area of I-35 and East Avenue.
It’s small 2 seater plane and only One person was in the plane, and they have been transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with potentially serious injuries, ATCEMS said.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is aware that a Game Warden pilot was involved in a plane crash today in Austin on Lady Bird Lake. We are gathering more information about the status of the pilot and the airplane.
The Austin Police Department is asking residents to avoid the hike-and-bike trail from IH-35 to East Avenue.
