Wednesday’s Child: Meet Aysia, Aryanna and Addyson

Meet Aysia, Aryna and Edison. These little princesses need peace and more than anything, they need to find their forever home.

DALLAS – It’s been almost a year since the WFAA brought you the story of three sisters who didn’t want to be separated in foster care.

Good news: Aysia, Aryna and Edison are now living together again after parting ways.

But all three have not been adopted.

Below is our story from 2021:

Often siblings are separated in foster care, and these three beautiful sisters don’t want to be separated anymore.

They are the children of today’s Wednesday.

Meet Aysia, Aryna and Edison. Their age is 5, 6 and 7 years.

“I like to be with my younger sisters because I have friends to play with,” said 7-year-old Aysia.

These three princesses will melt your heart.

“Pizza and burger,” said 6-year-old Aryna when asked about her favorite foods.

Addison, 5, couldn’t wait to tell the WFAA about her favorite animal at the Dallas World Aquarium.

“A tortoise,” she said proudly.

Aysia enjoyed the whole experience at the aquarium mainly because she got to spend time with her younger sisters.

It’s easy to see that she loves them.

“Why I want to be with them is because I love them,” she said.

Denise Hamilton is an adoption caseworker with Child Protective Services.

“They’re like my little kids. They’ve become my little kids,” she said.

But their story will break your heart too.

Ayesia is currently separated from her two younger sisters due to behavioral issues.

“They definitely want to be together. They have everything and they are very bonded,” Hamilton said.

Aysia have made great progress and Hamilton said he is ready to bring them back under one roof.

“I’m looking for a house that has structure. Definitely needs structure. Be consistent and get lots of love. We’re looking for lots of love.”

While in the aquarium, the sisters gathered around the sleeping ocelot. Aysia called it her favorite moment for a reason.

“It was cat because it was sleeping, and I like animals that are ‘sleeping’ because they are chill,” she said.

These little princesses need peace and more than anything, they need to find their forever home.

This is Aysia’s nightly prayer that she happily shared with us.

“Lord, please help us adopt and I can see my little sisters again. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.”
